1. Animals do not misbehave out of spite or to make us angry or get even with us. They just do not think that way.
2. The behaviors of an animal are reflective of both the environment, and the influence provided by the humans IN its environment.
3. It is easier to provide correct, positive training than to attempt to correct mis-training done by accident by a well meaning or even a lazy person.
4. Everything we do will have a direct effect on the animal we are attempting to train. (Doing nothing can have as much effect as doing something.)
